WPL 2024: Possible Royal Challengers Bangalore Playing XI and Player Stats

Royal Challengers Bangalore had a poor outing in the inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League. The franchise finished fourth in the points tally, failing to qualify for the playoffs. They managed to win only two of their eight league stage matches.

Royal Challengers Bangalore has a very strong squad, which is led by Indian batter Smriti Mandhana. Ellyse Perry is another big name in the squad, alongside the likes of Sophie Devine and Renuka Thakur.

The franchise had a good auction, where they added players to bolster their strength in the bowling department. Although, they underperformed last year, they will look to go all the way in the second season of the WPL.

Sophie Devine was the top run getter for the side last season, scoring at a strike rate of over 170. Smriti Mandhana largely underperformed with the bat, averaging just below 20.

On the other hand, Ellyse Perry also had a decent WPL campaign, scoring 253 runs at an average of 42.16. However, she disappointed with the ball, as she could pick up just four wickets at an average of 48.50.
