Yuzvendra Chahal marries Dhanashree Verma. SEE PICS

India’s leading wrist spinner and one of the best leg spinners in world cricket has started his second innings in life as he got married to his choreographer partner on 22nd of December 2020.

Yuzvendra Chahal in spotlight

The year 2020 could have been a disastrous year to many but this year will be mighty special for the Haryana based leg spinner in Yuzvendra Chahal. The canny customer took to his Instagram account to post the picture in which both Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal are dressed in their wedding outfits. The caption read, “22.12.20. We started at “Once upon a time” and found “Our happily ever after,” coz’ finally, #DhanaSaidYuz for infinity & beyond!.”

Yuvendra Chahal had an impressive IPL in UAE and won his team Royal Challengers Bangalore some handful of games on his own with some match-winning spells with the ball. He finished the tournament with 21 wickets in 15 games and ended up as the 5th leading wicket taker of the tournament. He was instrumental in RCB reaching the playoffs after 3 years. He was ably supported by Washington Sundar and the spin twins were really impressive for RCB.

What has been the biggest highlight of India's tour of Australia 2020-21?

It was expected that Yuzvendra Chahal would carry his tremendous form into the Australian series but he was dealt with rather easily by the Aussie batsmen in the ODI series. But, Yuzvendra Chahal made a massive impact in the 1st T20I where he replaced Ravindra Jadeja as the concussion substitute and picked 3 wickets in his 4 overs by giving away only 25 runs.

A massive year ahead for Yuzvendra Chahal

The year 2021 will be a huge one as India will be hosting the WT20 which is happening after a gap of 5 years. He is the leader of the spin attack in T20Is for India and a lot will rely on him if India are to win the ICC trophy under Virat Kohli for the first time.
