England are ready to host India which will commence with the first Test at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. England have suffered a huge setback with the absence of Ben Stokes. This series is also a part of World Test Championship’s second cycle which makes every match an important one. Both teams have played 126 Tests till date in which England leads India 49-30. 49 matches have ended in a draw.
- Ben Stokes is unavailable for this series as he has taken indefinite break from cricket to focus on his mental health.
- Ollie Pope is doubtful for first Test as he suffered grade three quadriceps tear in Vitality Blast.
- Ollie Robinson is likely to be back into the eleven after being suspended for a few games.
