IND vs ENG, 3rd Test Day 4 Weather Update: The ongoing third Test match between England and India has reached a really interesting climax with the visitors making a fighting comeback on Day 3. After conceding a mammoth first innings lead of 354 runs, the Indian batters showed great amount of courage and application to counter the quality England bowling attack. However, the Virat Kohli-led team still needs to go a long way to ensure a safe position.

Headingley Weather Update for Day 4

There is some great news for the cricket fans that the rain gods will once again stay away on Day 4 at the Headingley in Leeds. However, the conditions will remain overcast with a maximum of temperature around 18-19 degrees. Things will be challenging for the Indian batters especially during the opening session Day 4 as the hosts will definitely take the new ball from the word go. It will remain cloudy throughout the day with helpful conditions on offer for the fast bowlers, but there are no chances of rain on Day 4.

IND vs ENG, 3rd Test

The Indian pacers got the England team bowled out early on Day 3 at the score of 432 runs in the first innings conceding a heavy lead of 354 runs. India’s opening pair of KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma countered England’s new ball bowlers, James Anderson and Ollie Robinson excellently well in the opening hour. However, Rahul lost his wicket just at the stroke of lunch as Jonny Bairstow took a stunning one-handed catch in the slips cordon. But then the duo of Rohit and Cheteshwar Pujara showed great temperament to compose a wonderful partnership of 82 runs for the second wicket. Rohit Sharma was batting really well before getting dismissed on 59 off a close lbw call.

Cheteshwar Pujara answered his critics in a remarkable manner scoring a sensational unbeaten innings of 91 runs off 180 balls. At stumps on Day 3, India were 215 for 2 with Kohli and Pujara unbeaten at the crease and England still ahead by 139 runs. The combo of Kohli and Pujara have already added 99 runs for the third wicket stand.
