There were a handful of top notch performances from both ends in the first Test. Joe Root displayed a batting masterclass, while, James Anderson and Ollie Robinson impressed with natural swing and movement. For India, it was Jasprit Bumrah who stole the show after a hard couple of months, and got back to his best with nine wickets to his name. KL Rahul grabbed the opportunity with both hands and played a pivotal knock of 84 runs in his comeback game in Test Cricket. All in all we can expect the upcoming Test at Lord’s to be a terrific game of cricket.
