AND vs KER Dream11 Match Prediction | Andhra Pradesh vs Kerala | Vijay Hazare Trophy

Both sides haven’t had much of a campaign with Andhra Pradesh losing five and winning just the one game, meanwhile, Kerala has lost four and won three games so far.

Match Details

Date- Wednesday, October 16 | Time- 9:00 AM (IST) | Venue- Alur Cricket Stadium III, Bangalore

Andhra Pradesh

With Andhra being second to last in the Elite, Cross Pool points table, their only win came against Goa who finds itself at the bottom. Andhra’s game against Mumbai was abandoned midway through the first innings which resulted in points being shared. However, Andhra’s performance in their most recent game against Jharkhand almost earned them a win as it went right down the wire.

Andhra Pradesh is likely to go with the same eleven as a result of their gritty performance. Kranthi Kumar scored a solid knock of 72 while opening the innings alongside Pranith. Though Pranith was dismissed early, he might be given another opportunity. Prasanth Kumar at three and Ricky Bhui at four scored half-centuries too and should hold on to their role in the next game. Karan Shinde, Girinath Reddy should be there to handle the lower middle order. Cheepurali Stephan and Girinath Reddy are expected to lead the pace attack. Meanwhile, Shoaib Khan and Karna Shinde could accompany them in the middle overs.

Squad – Bodapati Sumanth, Hanuma Vihari, Prasanth Kumar, Dasari Swaroop, Srikar Bharat (wk), Naren Reddy, Ricky Bhui (c), Cheepurapalli Stephen, Ashwin Hebbar, Kranthi Kumar, KV Sasikanth, Karan Shinde, Girinath Reddy, Shoaib Md Khan, Pranith Manyala, SK Kamaruddin, Yarra Prithviraj, Manish Golamaru, Pinninti Tapaswi

Kerala

Kerala has had had an underwhelming campaign too as Robin Uthappa’s side finds itself at the 13th spot with 12 points on board. Kerala’s three wins have been against Goa, Chattisgarh and Hyderabad. Their defeats, however, has been against Mumbai, Jharkhand, Karnataka, and Saurashtra.

Robin Uthappa’s men will be eying a win against a struggling Andhra unit in order to get back in the mix. Uthappa will open the innings alongside Vishnu Vinod who’s looking to get back in form. Sanju Samson recently scored a double hundred against Goa batting at number three and should continue to bat at the same position. Sachin Baby walks in at four, while Mohammed Azharuddeen, Akshay Chandran and KM Asif take care of the middle order. Sandeep Warrier should lead the pace attack along with KM Asif. Jalaj Saxena can come handy with his off-break.
