Visakhapatnam, February 24 at 7:00 PM IST
After pummelling Australia in their own den in both Tests and One-dayers and drawing level in the 3-match T20I series, India will welcome the Kangaroos for a proposed 3 T20I and 5 One-dayers series which will kick-off from today i.e. 24th February, with the first T20I which will be played at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
For India, skipper Virat Kohli will return to the mix along with KL Rahul who showed some glimpse of form in the India A series against England Lions. Not only these two, the talismanic fast bowler who was rested for the tour of New Zealand is also back for the hosts, while his partner in crime Jasprit Bumrah and the revery left-arm chinaman Kuldeep Yadav have been rested.
The Australian team are coming into the series after a successful Big Bash campaign and a lot of their players would be banking on their BBL form. Australia will look for vengeance here after the beating they took from the same opposition in their own den.
