AUS vs SA Dream11 Match Prediction | Who Will Win Today Match
Adelaide, November 09 at 08:50 AM IST
The first ODI between Australia and South Africa did not live up to the expectations, but what an exhibition of seam bowling it was from both sides. The new Perth stadium surface was as good as WACA. The visitors would look to wrap the series when they meet Australia in the second game of the three-match ODI series.
The first game was a low-scoring one, with the hosts bundling out for a little over 152. In reply, South Africa were off to a flyer with the opening combo of de Kock and Hendricks putting on 94 runs on a tricky surface that had plenty for Australian bowlers. The tourists lost a few towards the end but crossed the line with six wickets and 20.4 overs remaining.
Dale Steyn was on fire

There were question marks over Quinton de Kock‘s form but he played an excellent knock in the first game to silence all doubters. He is our wicket-keeper for the clash.
None of the Australian batsmen applied themselves in the first game. From the visiting side, Reeza Hendricks and Aiden Markram showed fine application.
Dale Steyn, Lungi Ngidi, Andile Phehlukwayo and Marcus Stonis were among the wickets in the first ODI.
Risky but value picks:
Glenn Maxwell is the X-factor and is worth taking a punt on.
Other safe bets: Aaron Finch, Faf du Plessis, Imran Tahir
