But, Mujeeb ur Rahman (3-29) and the eventual Player of the Match, Rahmat Shah (3-25) produced a scintillating collapse to restrict them to 9-167 in 20 overs.

Tomorrow’s game will be the second time that these two teams’ will lock horn after playing out the tournament opener.

Balkh Legends won that game, overhauling Zwanan’s 6-176 thanks to a swashbuckling 46-ball-78 by Ryan ten Doeschate, overhauling pulsating half-centuries from Laurie Evans (64) and skipper Rashid Khan (56).

With such a sub-plot in the background, the game promises to be a humdinger as both sides’ aim to consolidate their surge to the top of the points table.
