After completing a 3-0 T20I series whitewash against World Cup champions England, a confident Bangladesh will host Ireland for a multi-format series, starting from March 18. Notably. this will be the first-ever multi-format series that will be played between these two countries.
The series will begin with the ODI series, starting on March 18 followed by 3-match T20I series which will begin on March 27. Ireland will then play a one-off Test which is scheduled to be played in Dhaka from April 4.
The first BAN vs IRE ODI will be played at Sylhet District Stadium on Saturday (March 18).

Mehidy Hasan Miraz has turned out to be a brilliant all-rounder for Bangladesh in past couple of years, The all-rounder picked 4 wickets in the 2 matches he played against England and made a key contribution in the series win.
Veteran Shakib Al Hasan is still capable of turning the game on his head. In the ODI series against England, the all-rounder scored two fifties and picked 6 wickets.
