It was a prominent batting display from the experienced cog who surpassed Martin Crowe tally for most Test hundreds by a Kiwi batsman en route to his 18th Test ton. His knock not only helped them reach a big score but also led the foundation for the bowlers to make it count in the second innings.

What’s next for Bangladesh

Bangladesh are looking completely baffled after a havoc show on this tour so far. Their World Cup preparations looked obsolete when they featured in the ODI series where they weren’t able to win a single game, and now with the same performance in Tests, they find themselves in a state of bother.

A consolation win is what they need here to see-off this not so worthy tour which they would want to forget sooner rather than later.
