BAN vs WI Dream11 Prediction | Windies and Bangladesh in Ireland Triseries 2019 | Team News & Fantasy Team

Dublin, May 13, Monday at 03:15 PM IST

Windies will square off against Bangladesh at The Village, Dublin in their second head to head clash in the ongoing tri-series between Windies and Bangladesh in Ireland. The first round has ended up and it’s time for the teams to face each other for the second time in the series.

With two wins and one loss in three outings, Windies moved up to the top spot in the tri-series standings after thrashing Ireland by 5 wickets in their record ODI run chase of 331-5. Sunil Ambris’ maiden ODI ton helped Windies in chasing down their highest successful run chase in ODIs at Malahide on Saturday. With the win, Windies also secured a spot in the final while the hosts Ireland are still winless after three matches. They now need nothing less than a miracle to secure a spot in the final.

Bangladesh, on the other hand, is placed second in the table with one win and one no result in two games. They secured a convincing 8 wickets win over Windies in the first encounter while the second game against the hosts Ireland got abandoned due to rain coming into play. Bangladesh needs just one win in two games to advance into the finals of the tri-series.

The final of the series is scheduled to be played on May 17, Friday at The Village, Dublin.

Bangladesh outplayed Windies in all three departments in the first game

The top-order comprising of Tamim Iqbal, Shakib Al Hasan and Soumya Sarkar was in terrific form as all the three scored half-centuries against Windies

The experienced campaigners – M Mortaza and Mushfiqur Rahim looked in good flow too. While M Mortaza bagged 3 wickets giving away just 49 runs in 10 overs, Mushfiqur Rahim remained unbeaten on 32 in the run chase against Windies

In bowling, Mohammad Saifuddin and Mustafizur Rahman shared four wickets in the first game

Shai Hope, Sunil Ambris and John Campbell have hit centuries for the side

S Hope slammed back to back centuries against Ireland and Bangladesh in the starting two games and looked quite comfortable where other batters were founding it difficult to time freely

Sunil Ambris scored his maiden ODI ton in the last game against Ireland and helped his side chase down a mammoth total

Shannon Gabriel was the pick of bowlers, returning with 2/47. In three games, he has bagged 6 wickets and is the leading wicket-taker for the side

Ashley Nurse has 4 scalps in his bag. However, Windies need better performances from bowlers as Shanon Gabriel has taken three of the seven wickets the side has bagged in last two games
