Canada has ensured its authority in the group by recording three thumping wins against Vanuatu, Malaysia, and Qatar, one after the other.

In the previous game, Canada posted a mammoth score of 379 in the first innings before bundling out Qatar for 264.

The game prior to that Canada scored 408 against Malaysia in the first innings as they registered a 206 runs win.

Skipper, Navneet Dhaliwal has been the most consistent batsman for Canada with scores of 72, 140, and 38 respectively.

Rodrigo Thomas in the opening slot has been useful as well with the batsman scoring two half-centuries in three games.

Nitish Kumar and SA Wijeyeratne are fresh from a hundred each in the last game versus Qatar. Not to forget, Kumar had bowled impeccably well as he got a fifer in the same match.

Eranga and Parvez have also chipped in with wickets at regular intervals for Canada.

Denmark wasn’t able to start their campaign in a grand manner as they lost their opening two games to Malaysia and Singapore respectively.

However, Denmark bounced back as they beat Vanuatu and Qatar simultaneously.

Denmark with four points on board resides at the third spot in the table while being two points away from Canada and Singapore.

Denmark’s captain, Ham Shah seemed to have hit the right form in the game against Qatar as he contributed with a well-constructed knock of 93. He later got into the act with the ball as he picked three crucial wickets.

Klokker at number four provided adequate support with an 80 ball 80.

Zameer Khan has got starts for Denmark on quite a few occasions but hasn’t been able to convert them into big scores.

J Jojo and ND Laegsgaard have done well in the bowling department by picking regular wickets.
