The second semi-final of CSA T20 Challenge Cup 2019 will be played at  Buffalo Park, East London between Warriors and Cape Cobras tomorrow evening. Both the teams will look to secure a spot in the final that will be played on Sunday, May 05.

Warriors clinched the second spot in the ladder with 4 wickets win over Knights in the previous encounter. Opting to bowl first, bowlers did a wonderful job in restricting Knights for mere 96-7, courtesy Andrew Birch (4-10). Coming to chase, Warriors chased down the target in 17.1 with four wickets in hand, courtesy Gihahn Cloete’s 40 off 40.

On the opposite, Cape Cobras finished third in the table with five wins and four defeats in ten encounters.  The Cobras have lost back to back games with Lions and Dolphins and need to come stronger against Warriors. In their previous meeting, Cape Cobras turned out to be the winners by 7 wickets and something similar will be needed when they face off with Warriors in the semi-final 2.

The first semi-final of the tournament will be played at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg between Lions and Dolphins in the noon.
