The fourth edition of Tamil Nadu Premier League kick starts tonight with the opening clash scheduled to be played between Dindigul Dragons and Chepauk Super Gillies. India cricketer Kedar Jadhav will inaugurate the tournament at the NPR College ground on Friday.

Last year runner up Dindigul Dragons will look to get their campaign underway with a win when they face off Gillies at their home turf.

A total of eight teams will fave each other in across  32 games for the title. The final of the tournament will be played on August 15. Siechem Madurai Panthers are the defending champions who could not win a single game in the first two seasons.

Pitch Report:

The NPR Ground in Dindigul is a perfect T20 wicket. It is a high-scoring venue due to shorter boundaries and offers help to batters as well as spinners.
