The two most successful teams in the Indian Premier League face off for the second time in the regular season as Chennai Super Kings host Mumbai Indians on Friday.

Chennai Super Kings are not only the defending champions of the IPL but also the league leaders. In 11 games played they have won eight, and that is more than enough for them to book a berth in the playoffs. The franchise is not going to stop here, as complacency is one word that doesn’t appear in their dictionaries. Captain MS Dhoni has been impressive, to say the least, and he will be looking to make sure that his players don’t lose focus in the last three games before the playoffs.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians are in the third spot in the league table and are finally turning things up to 11 in terms of cricketing ability. They need to a bit more consistent in terms of winning games as clearly they have the best roster of anyone in the IPL. Skipper Rohit Sharma has been a shadow of his former self, and if he starts going as well, they are not going to be taken lightly at all.
