The Indian Premier League will have two heavyweights go head to head as Delhi Capitals host Kolkata Knight Riders in the regular season on Saturday.
Delhi Capitals are in the third spot after a round of two games in the IPL and have done really well for themselves so far. Even though they are coming off a loss the team put forth a good fight. The issue of not having a solid batting lineup still remains, and the likes of Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyas Iyer need to step up soon. The bowlers have done an exceptional job so far, and need support from the top order. The recipe for success is there for the franchise, and all they have to do is act on it, in order to compete in this league.
Meanwhile, Kolkata Knight Riders have won the first two games of the season, and this has been the perfect start anyone could’ve asked. The team has got superstars in every single department, haven’t shown a single sign of weakness. Captain Dinesh Karthik will be pleased with his players and would urge them to keep the same energy up. If they are able to mount another two-three wins in a row, they can separate themselves from the others and build their campaign towards winning the championship.
