After starting the IPL 2019 campaign on a winning note, CSK and DC will look to carry forward their momentum when both the sides come face to face at Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi on Tuesday. Defending champions Chennai Super Kings registered 7 wickets win over Royal Challengers Bangalore in the opener while Delhi Capitals clinched 37 runs win over Mumbai Indians on Sunday to kick start their campaign, courtesy Rishabh Pant’s blistering 78 off 27 balls. Tuesday’s clash is expected to be another cracker of a game as it will be a clash of experience pitted against young brigade. The match will begin at 08:00 PM IST.
The reigning champions Chennai Super Kings started their campaign brilliantly with 7 wickets win over Royal Challengers Bangalore in the opener at MA Chidambaram. The turner at Chennai saw Royal Challengers Bangalore being bowled out for mere 70 runs with spinners grabbing at the limelight. CSK chased down the target with 7 wickets in hand and two overs to spare.
The spin trio- Harbhajan Singh, Imran Tahir and R Jadeja will be once again at their toes as the Kotla wicket is expected to be sluggish in nature.

The rejigged Delhi Capitals thrashed Mumbai Indians by 37 runs in the opening fixture at Wankhede Stadium on Sunday and alarmed everyone not to take them lightly. Rishabh Pant’s swashbuckling 78* of 27 created the difference and eventually turned out to be the match-winning knock. Kagiso Rabada and Ishant Sharma were brilliant with the ball and will be the key in restricting CSK batters play freely.

The Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi is expected to be another sluggish wicket like the one in Chennai. As the game wears on, the Kotla wicket slows down and it becomes hard to score runs easily. It will be easier for the spinners to bowl here and can prove out to be the game-changers.
