The T20 series moves on to the second T20 match of the series since the first match between both teams was abandoned due to rain. The second match will be played at the same venue and on June 21.
England had looked comfortable before beginning the T20 series. They had won the One-Day series 3-0. This was the perfect situation for West Indies to bounce back and get a good start to hopefully win the series. The ladies will definitely look to win both the remaining matches to grab the series in their favor.
Hopefully, we will be able to see some close games and also witness good form from the Windies Women since they lost the ODI series by 208, 121 and 135 runs, a very huge gap in each game. Heather Knight also stated that if they are able to maintain their good form and win the T20 series as well, it sets them up very well for the upcoming Ashes series.
