The second T20 match will take place as England looks to win yet another game against Windies on Friday.
Windies were once the most dominant and feared force in the cricketing world. The way they had their way with both bat and ball, was genuinely an art. That sort of supremacy is hard to emulate and live up to, but that is has been the story for any side that represents this team. It is an unfair comparison, but since the players have recently won the ICC T20 World Cup as well, the expectations to see Windies to exhibit their flamboyance always increases. They will be looking to learn some important things about the current roster before the start of the ICC World Cup 2019.
Meanwhile, England are the number 1 ranked ICC ODI side and haven’t exactly had the best time in recent years in the shortest format of international cricket. They have taken a second string squad with some of their key players being rested with an eye on the World Cup, these youngsters will be looking to lay down the marker. It will be interesting to see if a wildcard pick is selected in the final cut of 15 players, and one of them being someone who performs exceptionally well here.
