IN-U23 vs BD-U23 Dream11 Match Preview

The Indian Under-23 team can clinch the series when they host their Bangladesh counterparts in the fourth One-Day International match at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow.

Following a 49 runs win in the last game, India are leading the five-match series 2-1. The rain played the spoil-sport with the match getting reduced to 22 overs as a result. Bangladesh were given a revised target of 173 runs to win, which they failed to chase by 49 runs.

This was the first instance where the young Indian team flexed its muscles, for the performances have been far from convincing.

The batting has been the main issue, but it’s the problem facing both sides. The ball is talking more than the bat, with the highest score in the series being 212, which India managed in the 2nd match.

IN-U23 vs BD-U23 Fantasy Team News:

India:

No injury concerns for the Indian team ahead of the fourth game. All the players selected for the series are available for selection.

That said, it’s worth mentioning that Saurabh Dubey was not part of the squad initially, and came into the team only as a replacement for the injured Dhrushant Soni.

However, he hasn’t been used in the last two games and is expected to be overlooked for the 4th one-dayer as well.

What to expect:

As we mentioned above, the batting is the biggest issue for this Indian team, and any change is likely to happen in the batting department.

The team has two wicket-keepers in the form of Aryan Juyal and B R Sharath,  with both of them playing in the first and the third game respectively. Considering Juyal has two +50 scores, while Sharath has been in a better form than the other batsman, expect the former to keep wickets, with the former playing as a proper Batsman.

Madhav Kaushik was dropped for Ananta Saha in the last game, and the latter should be preferred here as well, considering he didn’t get to bat.

Same can be said about Kumar Suraj who should start ahead of Ritwik Roy Chowdhury.

Here is the Indian squad for the series:

Priyam Garg (Captain), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Aryan Juyal (wicket-keeper), Madhav Kaushik, B R Sharath (wicket-keeper), Samarth Vyas, Ritwik Roy Choudhary, Kumar Suraj, Atit Seth, Shubhang Hegde, Hrithik Shokeen, Saurabh Dubey, Arshdeep Singh, Kartik Tyagi, Harpreet Brar

Bangladesh:

The visitors have a clean bill of health, with all the players available for selection.

Will Bangladesh be making changes?

Yes. Not only they are hard-pressed for a win, but visitors’ batting woes means, they are likely to ring in some changes to their playing 11.

Mohammad Zakir Hussain replaced Al Amin in the playing 11 but failed to leave his mark following his dismissal on the 2nd delivery. Expect Al Amin to start here.

Here is the Bangladesh squad:

Saif Hassan (Captain), Zakir Hassan, Jaker Ali, Ariful Haque, Fardeen Hasan, Mahidul Islam, Yasir Ali Chowdhury, Al Amin, Tanvir Islam, Sumon Khan, Robiul Haque, Sabbir Hossain, Sheikh Mehedi Hasan, Manik Khan, Shafiqul Islam
