India and West Indies will be playing in Test 2 of India vs West Indies Test Series 2023, to be held at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain on 20 July 7:30 PM IST onwards.
India is already leading the series with a one-sided win in the first IND vs WI test match. While India has played like a unit in the first test, West Indies have disappointed the home crowd big time. The second test seems to be going on the above lines as the 8-seeded WI is no match to the world no. 1 as evident from the first match’s performance.
Related WI Playing 11
Rohit Sharma (c), Shubman Gill, Ajinkya Rahane (VC), Ravichandran Ashwin, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Srikar Bharat, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ishan Kishan, Ravindra Jadeja, Virat Kohli, Mohammed Siraj, Navdeep Saini, Mukesh Kumar, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Jaydev Unadkat
The chances of any upset are negligible. While India is playing its best cricket, West Indies has failed to use the home advantage in their favor.
The Indians are favorites to win this game. A draw can be the best, the hosts can play for.
Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli is doing good in Tests for the last few innings. Though he is yet to cut loose, a big hundred may be on the cards in the 2nd IND vs WI. A hint of the same was seen in the first encounter.
Ravichandran Ashwin
History has it that whenever Ashwin gets going he is unstoppable. He is all set for a massacre in the 2nd IND vs WI test match after grabbing 13 of the 20 wickets in the first match.
Ravindra Jadeja
Jadeja is having a gala time on the field. He’s scoring more than a top batsman while topping the wicket chart as well. So, no wonder we continue to see Sir Jadeja swinging his sword or packing a punch with his wonder wrist.
Yashaswi Jaiswal
After a fairytale debut, Yashaswi Jaiswal would definitely like to have great form, rather than reducing to a one-inning wonder.
