IND vs AUS Dream11 Team Prediction Tips for 3rd T20I Match Australia vs India, 8 December

IND vs AUS Dream11 Team Prediction: The fate of the series has already been decided but still there is one game to go. India and Australia will face each other in a dead rubber here at Sydney. Australia have failed to get past the line despite being in great situations many times. The injury concerns have clearly affected their performance and without some key players, they have lacked intent to finish off games. Stand-in skipper Matthew Wade gave the team a great start in the last game which will give them confidence. Steve Smith will look to hold one end like he did in the last match while Glenn Maxwell is yet to play a substantial innings this series. One positive for Australia in the last game was the performance of their spinners Adam Zampa and Mitchell Swepson who contained the Indian batsmen for most of the time they bowled. But the lack of experience in the fast bowling department cost them the match. Australia will look to win the last game which can keep them confident for the test series.

India though, have made a terrific comeback after the loss in the ODI series. Like Australia, they have been without key players too but have managed to win crunch situations. Both Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul looked in terrific form in the last match and skipper Virat Kohli has looked in a good touch too. Hardik Pandya has probably been the best players in the white ball series till now and he showed his maturity in the last game. The bowling looks inexperienced but T Natarajan’s bowling has been the find for India. India will look to continue the winning momentum going into the tests.

Pitch Report: Similar to the ODIs, the pitch in Sydney was good for batting as was evident in the last match. Again the pitch is expected to be a good one and batsmen will enjoy batting on this wicket. There will be some turn for the spinners too. But expect another high scoring game this time around. The weather will be sunny during the day though it will get cooler during the evening. But a full game of cricket is expected.

India vs Australia Playing 11

AUS Team News

Injury update, unavailability- Coach Justin Langer said that Finch may return for this game after missing the last one. Mitchell Starc has already dropped out of T20I series while Hazlewood’s availability is still a question.

Expected team changes- If Finch returns, he could possibly return in place of D’Arcy Short as Wade scored a brilliant fifty in the last match. Rest of the eleven is expected to be the same.

Team Combination:

  • Australia will most probably open with Wade given his exploits in the last game. So if Finch returns, he can replace D’Arcy Short.
  • Steve Smith, Maxwell and Henriques will handle the middle order with Stoinis at No.6.
  • Given Swepson’s decent performance on a batting wicket in the last game, he is expected to retain his place in the eleven along with Zampa.

Aaron Finch/ D’Arcy Short
Matthew Wade (C) (wk)
Steve Smith
Glenn Maxwell
Moises Henriques
Marcus Stoinis

IND Team News

Injury update, unavailability- India has no recent injury concerns and all the players in the squad are available for selection.

Expected team changes- India have no reason to bring back their main bowlers Bumrah and Shami for this game. This means they would go with the same winning combination.

Team Combination:

  • Rahul and Dhawan will be the openers with Virat Kohli completing the top 3.
  • Despite two low scores, Samson has looked good. He will most probably retain his place with Shreyas Iyer and Pandya to follow.
  • T Natarajan has a great chance to become the Man of the Series in his first ever international tour. All the bowlers of the last match are expected to retain their places.

IND Playing 11 (probable)

Shikhar Dhawan
Virat Kohli (C)
Sanju Samson

AUS vs IND Today Match Prediction: Who will win AUS vs IND Dream11 match today?
Both the teams have played with depleted elevens. But India has won crucial moments in both the games and held the nerves better. Their IPL experience has proved useful for them that has helped them prevail in pressure situations. On a flat wicket, they have the batters who can take the game away from the opposition. Australia though, have had their moments in both the T20 games. Established players like Maxwell and Smith need to take more responsibility. Bowling lacks inexperience but they have the talent to knock out the opposition. On a flat wicket, expect batsmen to put up big scores in the AUS vs IND Dream11 Today Match Prediction.
