IND vs NZ Dream11 team: India haven’t lost a T20I series under Hardik Pandya and there could be a chance of that happening in this series. Indian top 3 looked clueless in the first match. While chasing an above par total, they needed a solid start from their openers. Hardik Pandya doesn’t believe in chopping and changing and this will be another opportunity for the Indian top order to fightback.
Suryakumar Yadav didn’t get enough help from the other end in the first match. He was playing really well. He is in terrific form and a good option for captain in grand leagues.
The southpaw held the innings together post powerplay and scored a valiant fifty on a tricky wicket. He took down Umran Malik and disturbed the Indian bowling plan.
He was not at his usual best in the first match but he has been the best T20I batsman for New Zealand in the past year or so. He can do maximum damage if he gets going.
The Indian skipper had a bad day both as the bowler and as a batsman. He hasn’t played a noticeable innings in T20Is in the recent past. He needs to demote himself and promote Deepak Hooda who is a better player of spin.
Arshdeep Singh bowled terrible line and length in the first match and he is a much better bowler than that. He is the pace spearhead in the absence of all senior bowlers for India.
