India and New Zealand will meet in Eden Park for the second ODI game. India has fond memories of the stadium as they won both the T20I played on this ground in the recently concluded T20I series. However, the Men in Blue were left shocked by the fantastic bounce back made by the Kiwis in the first ODI after getting whitewashed in the T20 series. Indian bowlers completely got dominated after the batsmen posted a challenging total of 348 runs.

The Indian team would, however, be encouraged by excellent performances from their batsmen in the first game. The batsmen would expect another superb performance. However, the toss will also play a significant role in deciding the result of the game.

• Kuldeep Yadav proved costly in the first game and hence can be dropped for the second ODI in favor of Yazuvendra Chahal.
