We could only watch India’s batting in the last game between India and Pakistan as the rain Gods didn’t allow the second innings to happen. Pakistan are looking in the red-hot form as they defeated Bangladesh by 7 wickets in their last Super Four game.
India, on the other hand, haven’t looked at their best so far. While their top order struggled against Pakistan, their bowling looked in shambles against Nepal. The Men in Blue didn’t look convincing against Nepal despite of their 10-wicket win.
It is a vital game for both sides as India are looking to get into the groove and boost their confidence ahead of the the ODI World Cup 2023. Meanwhile, Pakistan will be eyeing to qualify for the final with a win over their arch-rivals.

It is a slow surface and the spinners are expected to dominate the game. The ball won’t come to the bat nicely and the batters will have to rely on the timing instead of power. The rain is expected to play a spoilsport once again but the ACC has added Monday as the reserve day for this fixture.

It will be a contest between India’s batting and Pakistan’s bowling. In the last few matches, India’s top order went into a shell against Pakistan’s pace attack and it is high time that they tackle the threat with a big heart. At the same time, Pakistan’s batting could struggle against India’s spin and it is a perfect wicket for Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja to expose Pakistan’s weakness. While one could expect it to be a nail-biting thriller, we would expect the Men in Blue to come at the top at the end of the night.
