IND vs WI Dream11 Match Preview:

India and West Indies look to start their respective ICC test Championship campaigns on the front foot.

Team India go into the series on the back-off sweeping the Windies in both the limited-overs formats but taking their opponents lightly could cost them dearly as it did to England a few months ago.

Match Details: IND vs WI, Aug 22-Aug 25, 18:00 (IST), Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua

IND vs WI Dream11 Team News:

India: Mayank Agarwal returns to the international scene to open the innings while KL Rahul can be handed another lifeline to revive his test career in the 1st test at least.

Cheteshwar Pujara had a perfect time out in the practice game scoring an unbeaten century.

Virat Kohli will look to get his side off to a good start with the bat and captaincy.

Ajinkya Rahane, Rohit Sharma, and Hanuma Vihari all three got half-centuries, and it leaves the team management with a pleasant headache.

On the bowling front, Jasprit Bumrah is back in the fray and will lead the Indian bowling line-up.

Mohammad Shami could feature as deputy to Bumrah with R Ashwin and Jadeja handling the spin department.

    IND Playing 11 (probable):

Virat Kohli (c), Mayank Agarwal, KL Rahul, C Pujara, Hanuma Vihari, Ajinkya Rahane, Rishabh Pant, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah

West Indies: The Windies did not have a desired limited-overs face-off against the Blues but will take a lot of heart from the series win against England.

In Shai Hope, John Campbell and Shimron Hetmyer, they have the three extremely talented youngsters who can carry the burden of batting for many-a-year to come.

Roston Chase has a good test record against India and will be handy with both the bat and ball.

All eyes will also be on whether, the new “giant” of world cricket, Rahkeem Cornwall is given an opportunity.

His imposing physical structure may have grabbed attention but Cornwall has also been a performer with his effective off-breaks and handy lower-middle-order batting.

Kemar Roach will look to replicate his heroics from the aforementioned England series along Shannon Gabriel.

    WI Playing 11 (probables):

Jason Holder (c), Kraigg Brathwaite, Darren Bravo, John Campbell, Roston Chase, Keemo Paul, Shane Dowrich, Shannon Gabriel, Shimron Hetmyer, Shai Hope, Kemar Roach

IND vs WI Dream11 Fantasy Picks:

Cheteshwar Pujara: India’s Mr. Dependable. He had a successful tour of Australia and goes into this series on the back of a century in the practice game.

Virat Kohli: Kohli has 1000+ test runs in the past two calendar years and would dearly like to complete the hattrick this cricketing season.

Roston Chase: In the first test, he scored a century and bagged eight wickets with the ball against England and went on to score another century in the third test. He could be a handy customer with his all-round abilities.
