Women’s Challenger Trophy, 2019 | India Women Blue vs India Women Green, Match 02 | INW-B vs INW-G Who Will Win
As the caravan of the 2019 Women’s Challenger Trophy rolls on, India Women Blue will square off against India Women Green as the former aims to continue with the winning momentum after pulling off a one-wicket win in their tournament opener against India Women Red.
The 2019 Women’s Challenger Trophy got off to a rollicking start with the Blues and the Red playing out a humdinger on Thursday. After bowling out INW-R for a lowly 129 in 45 overs, the Blues got off to a worst possible start and at one stage were reduced to 8-24 with none of their top-seven batters registering double-digit scores. But, Manali Dakshina’s resilient 91-ball-49 along with handy contributions from TP Kanwer and Reemalaxmi Ekka meant the target was chased down in 45.5 overs.
They’ll now face India Women Green, who will be led by Mona Mesaram and have the likes of Dayalan Hemalatha and Arundhati Reddy in their line-up to give them the invaluable experience.

Punt on the top-order
The likes of Punam Raut, Priya Poonia and Bharati Fulmali had a game to forget against India Red, and they would be looking to make amends for the lackluster show while Dayalan Hemlatha and Mona Mesharam from India Green have enough experience to turn it on against the Blues’ bowling unit. Choosing them in your Grand League team can help you top the Fantasy League.
Team 03 & 04
Predict the Winner
India Blue Win- After pulling off a nail-biting win in the last game, the Blues will definitely start off as favorites.
Fantasy Tip- Choose more players from INW-B
Backing the Underdogs- As we saw in the last game, the Blues top-order looks vulnerable and India Green can pull off a win if their bowlers can wreck their batting unit.
Fantasy Tip- Choose more players from INW-G
