DC vs SRH My11Circle Team Prediction

Two polar opposites meet next up in IPL 2020 as top of the table Delhi Capitals take on bottom placed Sunrisers Hyderabad in Match 11 at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium. In a normal world, this would be a one-sided contest. In IPL, with the level of unpredictability on offer so far, this is just another roller coaster ride. Delhi Capitals have looked to be the strongest side so far in the tournament, having won both their fixtures. Sunrisers Hyderabad, on the other hand, are the only winless side in the tournament. Jonny Bairstow and David Warner both got out in unfortunate manners in the first two games. They both will have a huge role to play in DC vs SRH My11Circle contests.

DC vs SRH My11Circle Prediction

Delhi Capitals were without two of their first choice bowlers, but still managed to deliver the goods in their last game. With both Ashwin and Ishant Sharma now fit and back in training, we do expect Avesh Khan and Amit Mishra to be replaced by Ishant Sharma and Avesh Khan.
DC Predicted XI
Shreyas Iyer (C)
Rishabh Pant (WK)
Shikhar Dhawan
Prithvi Shaw
Shimron Hetmyer
Marcus Stoinis
Kagiso Rabada
Axar Patel
Amit Sharma/Ravi Ashwin
Ishant Sharma
Anrich Nortje

Kane Williamson has finally deemed himself fit and ready to plug the biggest hole in SRH’s sinking ship. That leaves them with another hole in their side as Mohammad Nabi will now have to sit out. Their bowling has been their strength every season and they are yet to find that going for them. We do expect a change or two in their bowling line-up as well.
SRH Predicted XI
David Warner (C)
Jonny Bairstow (WK)
Kane Williamson/Mohammad Nabi
Manish Pandey
Wriddhiman Saha
Abhishek Sharma
Priyam Garg
Rashid Khan
Bhuvneshwar Kumar
T Natarajan
Basil Thampi/Siddharth Kaul/Sandeep Sharma

DEL vs HYD My11Circle Team

Let’s look at the IPL 2020 DC vs SRH My11Circle Prediction now followed by a few stats and observations explaining each pick
WK: Rishabh Pant, Jonny Bairstow
BAT: David Warner (C), Shreyas Iyer (VC), Kane Williamson, Prithvi Shaw
ALL: Marcus Stoinis
BLR: Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rashid Khan, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje
SUBS: T Natarajan(S4), Shimron Hetmyer(S3), Shikhar Dhawan(S2), Manish Pandey(S1)

Wicket-keeper

What Rishabh Pant has done so far in the tournament is beyond what numbers can cover. He has two 30+ scores in two innings and both innings were polar opposites. That just goes to show how good a form he is in. If the stage is set for him to have a go, he will dash his way through to a 20-30 run innings. If he comes in to bat with Delhi struggling, he might just take off slow and give it a crack at the end. Either way, we do expect him to score 20-30 runs tonight. Bairstow missed out in the second game, but we do expect him to deliver what is expected of him, leaving the odd failure behind.

Batsmen

David Warner scored an impressive 36 in the second game after getting out in an unfortunate manner in the first. He didn’t look quite at his best, but showed hints of reaching there soon. Expecting him to hit his golden patch tonight, we have gone ahead and selected him as the captain as well. SRH are desperate to plug that middle order hole and are likely to rope in Kane Williamson. If he starts, there is just no doubt that he will be among the top run getters. For Delhi, Shreyas Iyer continues to remain their backbone. He has 65 runs in two innings, and will look to get a big score against the struggling SRH. Prithvi Shaw, after failing in the first game, scored a fluent 64 against CSK.

All-rounders

SRH’s cautious tactic of batting deep rules out the possibility of any all-rounder having a significant blast lower down the order. With Delhi also not offering a lot of options, we suggest the selection of Marcus Stoinis, who will come in handy with both bat and ball.

Bowlers

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has 11 wickets in 13 against Delhi Capitals and is the leading wicket-taker in this face-off for SRH. Rashid Khan picked up a wicket in the last game while conceding just 25 in his 4 overs. He will be poised to add a few more to the tally. For Delhi, the opening bowling pair of Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje will hold the key with the ball. The start of the innings will be challenging for them with Warner and Bairstow up top, but both will be expected to pick up a wicket or two in their later spells.
