With IPL 2020 nearing the halfway mark, Sunrisers Hyderabad take on the Rajasthan Royals with a common aim of getting their out of shape campaign some stability. Royals have just spiralled down after a top level start to their campaign. Hyderabad on the other hand have got their campaign slightly up and running after a dead start. SRH vs RR My11Circle Team too will undergo a change in shape with one of world’s best all-rounders Ben Stokes ready to make his first bow in IPL 2020. This season has had miraculous turnarounds, disastrous giveaways, and more recently, some terrible chasing. Both sides will hope to put up a good fight and deliver an exciting sporting contest.

SRH vs RR My11Circle Prediction

Sunrisers Hyderabad do look much more settled now with Kane Williamson anchoring that middle-order. Bowling is still to reach the level SRH are known to have over the years. Least expect any changes to the Playing 11.

David Warner (C)
Jonny Bairstow (WK)
Manish Pandey
Kane Williamson
Priyam Garg
Abdul Samad
Abhishek Sharma
Rashid Khan
T Natarajan

With Ben Stokes set to return, Andrew Tye’s first appearance in IPL 2020 could well turn out to be his last. Royals do have an option in Manan Vohra to still explore for that opening slot, with Yashasvi Jaiswal misfiring badly.

HYD vs RAJ My11Circle Team

Let’s look at the IPL 2020 SRH vs RR My11Circle Prediction now followed by a few stats and observations explaining each pick
WK: Jos Buttler, Sanju Samson, Jonny Bairstow (VC)
BAT: Kane Williamson, Steven Smith, David Warner
ALL: Ben Stokes (C), Rahul Tewatia
BLR: Jofra Archer, Rashid Khan, T Natarajan
SUBS: Khaleel Ahmed(S4), Mahipal Lomror(S3), Shreyas Gopal(S2), David Warner(S1)

Wicket-keeper

Records for the Royals’ big guns against SRH has been horrible to say the least. Buttler has 21 runs in 3 innings, while Sanju Samson being the only player for Rajasthan with some numbers on his side. He has 320 runs in 10 innings against SRH for RR. Jos Buttler has shown a slight glimpse of return to form and will be expected to score some biggies against SRH today. Our vice-captain for SRH vs RR My11Circle Team is SRH’s wicket-keeper, Jonny Bairstow. Having scored 241 runs in 6 innings, he is right up there in the race for Orange Cap.

Batsmen

There is a cloud of uncertainty over David Warner today. Jofra Archer has troubled him badly on the international stage lately, and might as well get him here. Warner is a big name though and is likely the best option of the lot, which makes us stick with him despite the doubt. Steven Smith badly needs some runs and with batsmen showing caution and making it big later on in the innings, Smith too might just want to reconsider his early slogging. If he settles in for 10-15 balls, he is bound to get a big score today. With wickets certainly expected, Kane Williamson is bound to get some runs too.

All-rounders

Ben Stokes looks all positive for his first start, and a positive Ben Stokes looks very capable of winning the match on his own. He won England the World Cup on his own, he won England an Ashes Test on his own, and now Rajasthan will hope for similar heroics from him in the IPL. We are expecting something similar as well and have picked him to Captain our SRH vs RR My11Circle Team. Rahul Tewatia’s fairy tale just doesn’t seem to end. We expect him to return with at least a wicket and 15-20 runs.

Bowlers

Jofra Archer’s inconsistency has probably been a cause of concern for many. However, his performances at Abu Dhabi justify his selection. Rashid Khan has finally clicked to make SRH’s bowling department look more settled. His figures now read 24-1-116-8 with an unimaginable economy rate 4.83. T Natarajan has picked up 7 wickets so far and is probably their best pace bowler in the absence of Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
