SRH vs RCB My11Circle Team Prediction

The IPL Bandwagon in the UAE moves on as we get set for the first South Indian Derby of the season with Sunrisers Hyderabad squaring off against the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Monday. We are just 3 games in and have already witnessed a super over. The IPL has started doing what it always does the best, entertain fans, though only virtually this time. When it comes to entertainment, RCB is a common name every season. The likes of Virat Kohli and David Warner will be the Captain for many in their SRH vs RCB My11Circle teams. They open their campaign this time against neighbors SRH, and, just like every season, hope to live up to their expectations and make this season “Cup Nammade”.

SRH vs RCB My11Circle Prediction

Sunrisers have all the bases covered right from the top-order to their bowling set-up. The only problem for them is the availability of too many options to choose from.

RCB’s line-up looks very identical to what it was last year, with the biggest change being the addition of Aaron Finch up top. The onus this year too will remain on Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers.

HYD vs BLR My11Circle Team

Let’s look at the IPL 2020 SRH vs RCB My11Circle Prediction now followed by a few stats and observations explaining each pick

WK: J Bairstow
BAT: V Kohli, AB de Villiers, A Finch, D Warner
ALL: Chris Morris (C), Vijay Shankar, Shivam Dube
BLR: Yuzvendra Chahal (VC), Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sandeep Sharma
SUBS: Abdul Samad(S4), Dale Steyn(S3), Rashid Khan(S2), Mohammad Nabi(S1)

Wicket-keeper

We are going with one wicket-keeper today, partly because who will keep the wickets for Bangalore is not confirmed, and also partly because there are better choices available to pick from the batsmen list. Jonny Bairstow is the obvious choice as the Englishman’s records, 445 runs in 10 IPL games at an average of 55.6 and a strike rate of 157.6, speak very loudly for him. The match could well end up in SRH’s favour if he gets going in the early stages.

Batsmen

The list here was big to say the least. We have stuck to the big names here, as the chances for a young name to show his mettle are very low. One of Finch, Warner, Bairstow, Kohli, and Ab de Villiers is expected to steal the show with the bat. David Warner in particular has an excellent record against RCB. He has 8 scores of 50+ in nine innings, totalling 562 runs at an average of 80.29. Virat Kohli has 810 runs for Bangalore against SRH at an average of 40.5. AB de Villiers too has 440 runs against SRH at an average of over 33.

All-rounders

Chris Morris will be captaining our squad for two reasons. First, he will be capable of bowling good 4 overs picking up a wicket or two looking at the help he is expected to get from the pitch. Secondly, he can do exactly what Stoinis did for Delhi Capitals last night with the bat in the death overs. RCB are heavily dependent on their front 3-4 to score runs, and Chris Morris serves as the perfect finisher for them. Shivam Dube is very much a Hardik Pandya-esque player and he will be shouldered with the same responsibilities which Chris Morris will have. He too might get himself a wicket or two besides landing a couple of big blows in the final overs with the bat. Vijay Shankar will be the key man in SRH’s middle-order and will become a bit too important if their top-order fails.

Bowlers

With pitch expected to assist the bowlers, Bhuvneshwar Kumar becomes the prime choice for being the best bowler in the game. There is the option of Khaleel Ahmed as well, but the veteran is expected to deliver better numbers against RCB. We’ve seen how good spinners can be given the long boundaries and slow surfaces. Chahal is expected to return with a good economy rate along with a couple of SRH wickets. The only reason for including Sandeep Sharma is his form against RCB. He has accounted for Virat Kohli’s wicket six times, while also dismissing Ab de Villiers twice.
