Delhi Capitals vs Chennai Super Kings Dream11 prediction

CSK vs DC My11Circle Team Prediction

Having lost to Rajasthan Royals in their last game, Chennai Super Kings look to steady things again when they take on Delhi Capitals at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday. Chennai Super Kings will be eyeing to quickly bounce back, but looking at how strong Delhi Capitals are on paper, it looks a far fetched ask for CSK. With Dhoni at the helm though, no opponents are too strong for CSK, as he as proven time and again. Delhi Capitals scraped past Kings XI Punjab via Super Over in their opening fixture and they will be expected to come harder at CSK now. CSK vs DC My11Circle Team prediction will rely heavily on the big names, but there are a few X-factors capable of turning the game around. Delhi Capitals are by far the better side on paper, but the mighty presence of Dhoni makes this one an interesting game for the fans.

CSK vs DC My11Circle Prediction

Chennai are without Ambati Rayudu and Dwayne Bravo, with both expected to return by their next match against SRH at the earliest. Ruturaj Gaikwad was given a chance which he failed to make the most of. He is likely to retain his place though as Chennai do not have many options available.

Shane Watson
Faf du Plessis
Kedar Jadhav
Ruturaj Gaikwad
Murali Vijay

Delhi Capitals too are in a spot of bother after Ravi Ashwin left the field against Kings XI Punjab with a dislocated shoulder. He is expected to remain out if deemed unfit. He will be tested only an hour before the match starts. Amit Mishra could be his most likely replacement.

CHE vs DEL My11Circle Team

Let’s look at the IPL 2020 CSK vs DC My11Circle Prediction now followed by a few stats and observations explaining each pick
WK: Rishabh Pant, MS Dhoni
BAT: Shreyas Iyer (C), Faf du Plessis, Murali Vijay
ALL: Sam Curran, Ravindra Jadeja, Marcus Stoinis (VC)
BLR: Lungi Ngidi, Anrich Nortje, Kagiso Rabada
SUBS: Kedar Jadhav(S4), Axar Patel(S3), Deepak Chahar(S2), Shimron Hetmyer(S1)

Wicket-keeper

When you have both Rishabh Pant and MS Dhoni to pick from, the best option is to retain both of them if possible. Rishabh Pant, very against his natural game, played a sensible knock of 31 off 29 balls, and steadied DC’s innings in the middle overs. He will be expected to score another 30+ score today, but at a better strike rate. MS Dhoni did in the last game, what we expected him to do, hoick a few balls out of the park in the final overs of CSK’s innings. His responsibilities this time might be a bit more expansive, as he may come up the order to neutralize Delhi’s formidable looking bowling attack.

Batsmen

The pitch in Dubai is expected to be slow and in favour of bowlers. Batsmen will need to settle in before going for the big heaves. That leaves us with only 3 players who we felt can get their eyes in and make the most of these conditions. Shreyas Iyer, who’ll also be the Captain of our CSK vs DC My11Circle Team, scored an impressive 39 runs in the first game, and is likely to play the anchor role for Delhi. Faf du Plessis and Murali Vijay will be the two names most capable of surviving Delhi’s early pace onslaught with Rabada and Nortje. They are likely to get scores 20-30 runs each and can assure some big points with a few boundaries.

All-rounders

Just how good was Marcus Stoinis for Delhi Capitals in the first game. Scored a quick-fire 50, picked up two wickets, and pulled Delhi Capitals beyond the finishing line. He is our vice-captain for today and we expect him to repeat the same form today as well. Ravi Jadeja will be Dhoni’s trump card today looking at what spinners can do on Dubai’s sluggish track. He will be a key in CSK’s batting line-up as well. Sam Curran has managed 35 runs off 12 balls at a strike rate of almost 300, and his job is precisely defined by Dhoni. He too is expected to deliver exactly what he did in the first two games.

Bowlers

This, fair to say, has been an area of concern for CSK. Lungi Ngidi desperately needs to get going if CSK are to return where they belong. He had a nightmare of a spell against Rajasthan conceding 56 runs in 4 overs. But with the track on offer today offering swing initially, we are backing him to grab a few early wickets. Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada will have the responsibility of bringing down CSK’s out-of-sorts top order. Shane Watson is likely a wicket for the taking for either of these two. Both combined, we expect them to return with at least a couple of wickets.
