Ireland vs Scotland Match Preview:
The hosts Ireland will take on Scotland in the 3rd match of the T20 Tri-Series 2019. They finally would play their first game in the series as their first match against the Netherlands got abandoned due to rain.
Ireland will be wary of the threat possessed by the strong Scotland side who decimated the Netherlands with their bat in the last game. Scotland openers, including the captain Coetzer scored hundreds in their opening match against the men in orange.
With the Irish side being more experienced than the Netherlands the game is promised to be crackajack of a contest.
Ireland T20I Tri-Series 2019 – Match 3
Venue: The Village, Dublin
Date: Tuesday, September 17, 2019
Time: 6:00 PM IST
As we saw in the last match, the Village has a belter of a wicket. In the previous 2 games played here, twice the teams batting first have posted the score in access of 200. The same could be expected in this game too due to the short boundaries this ground has to offer. However, The pace bowlers also will get the swing and seam moment early in the innings. Spinners too can take the benefit of the bounce this pitch offers if they can land the ball in the right areas.
Dublin’s weather has improved in the past 2 days, and according to the forecast, Tuesday will offer the best playing conditions across the week. There is no prediction of rains on the matchday, and a clear sky is expected throughout the day.
