KOL vs DC Dream11 Team Tips IPL 2020 GRAND LEAGUE Captain Picks, 24 October

OL vs DC Dream11 Prediction: In match 42 of the ongoing Indian Premier League one of the most consistent teams in this edition, Delhi Capitals, will face one of the most inconsistent teams so far, Kolkata Knight Riders. Delhi have never played better cricket than what they are producing this year and are deservingly the contenders to finish in Top-2 with 7 wins from 10 matches. Kolkata, however, have won 5 out of their 10 matches and must consider lucky that they have 10 points as a couple of wins have been because of the other teams losing the plot rather than them being convincing. The match is very important for both sides as Delhi is fighting Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore for the precious position while KKR is facing as many as 4 teams for the No. 4 finish in the league. KKR can still afford to lose one more game and even then, make it to 16 points but they would want to save that one leverage for a bit later in the tournament and not drop any points here. The last time these two teams met it was one of those run fests in Sharjah where DC made 228 and in reply KKR scored 210.

Indian Premier League Season 13
Delhi Capitals vs Kolkata Knight Riders
Date – Saturday, 24 October 2020
Time: 3:30 PM (IST); 2:00 PM (Local Time)
Venue – Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi

Pitch Report: The pitch here is nowhere close to what the two teams played on the last time they met as it was a batting paradise, here the batsman will have to connect the ball properly and run for their lives to up the ante in KKR vs DC Today Match Prediction. Considering it is an afternoon match, both teams would like to bat first and would be looking for a 160+ score.

KKR Team News: Kolkata have a lot of issues to address as two of their biggest match-winners ever, Sunil Narine and Andre Russell, have not been in action. Narine has been taken off since the question mark over his action and Russell misses the last match because of injury. Whether they will be back in the playing eleven is a question Eoin Morgan will answer at the time of toss.

DC Team News: Delhi marked the return of Rishabh Pant and Shimron Hetmyer in their last match where we also saw Anrich Nortje not playing. The result didn’t go the Delhi way in the last match against KXIP and they would like to make some corrections. Let’s now take a look at KKR vs DC Dream11 Prediction.

KKRvs DC Dream11 Tips

Captain Choices:

Lockie Ferguson: The Kiwi speedster has been mighty impressive since he was included in the team and it raises a question why he wasn’t given a chance a bit earlier in the tournament. In the two matches that he has played he has taken 4 wickets (excluding the two he took in the Super Over against SRH) and has only gone for four runs an over. He bowls with pace and accuracy and is one of the very few KKR players who looks ready for a challenge.

Shikhar Dhawan: Dhawan made history when he became the first player ever two have a back to back century in IPL and what’s more impressive is the speed at which he has scored the two tons. He now has 465 runs at a strike-rate of 149 and is one of the prime contenders for the esteemed Orange Cap.

Vice-Captain Choices

Eoin Morgan: England’s white-ball captain Morgan took the difficult role of captaincy from Dinesh Karthik in the middle of the tournament and things have not been smooth for him. He has lost 2 out of the 3 matches he has captained and looks a bit under the pump and the best way to get over it is with the bat. Morgan has been goo so far with 278 runs at a strike-rate of 125 but doesn’t have a single 50+ score yet.

Kagiso Rabada: The change in Delhi Capitals’ fortune is directly synonymous to them having the services of KG Rabada. The South African speedster was sensational last season and he has bettered himself this season. With 21 wickets from 10 matches he is leading the race for the Purple Cap and unlike his competitors (Mohammad Shami and Jofra Archer) his wickets have got his team over the line.

X-Factors-Differential Picks

Nitish Rana: The reason why we chose Rana is because what he did last time he batted against the DC attack as he smashed a 35-ball 58 with 4 Sixes and 4 Fours. Rana hasn’t been at his best scoring at an average of only 18. He has scored his 184 runs at a good pace of 133 but would know that his team expects much more from him.

Marcus Stoinis: The Aussie all-rounder has been an x-factor for DC both with the bat and the ball. Stoinis has scored 226 crucial runs at a very good pace of 158 and has also bowled over 16 crucial overs for DC in which he took 6 wickets. Delhi likes to trust Stoinis in crunch situations and so far, he has delivered!
