KOL vs HYD MPL Team: Fans from Kolkata and Hyderabad have been fighting over the past few years, the reason for their fight is based on two questions – 1. Which Biryani is better Kolkata’s or Hyderabad’s? 2. Which IPL team is better, KKR or SRH? Well, we are not an expert on the first question (even after consuming tons from both sides), but we do have an answer on question two based on what happened in their opening matches in IPL-13, and the answer is – they were equally bad! While SRH have only themselves to blame for not crossing the line against RCB, KKR looked absolutely rusty and seemed completely switched off against holders MI! Moving on, IPL is a big tournament and both teams will be desperate to correct their wrongs and stamp their authority with a win. History favours KKR as they have a better head-to-head record winning 10 out of 17. Here is our KKR vs MI MPL Match Prediction.

KOL vs HYD MPL Prediction

Fixture: Kolkata Knight Riders vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, Match 8, IPL 2020
Date: Saturday, 26th September 2020
Time: 7:30 PM (IST); 6:00 PM (Local Time)
Venue: Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi

Pitch Report: In the two matches played here so far, we have seen that the batsmen have to get themselves in before they start smashing the ball. The average score is 150 but both the matches have gone beyond that (team batting first scoring 162 and 195). Spinners have leaked runs here and hit-the-pitch bowling and slower bouncers have fetched better result.

KOL vs HYD MPL Team, Playing XIs, Mega Contest

Team News KKR: Kolkata have all their options available, like in the last match, it is how they utilize these options. Expect Kolkata to go with the same teams as players who flopped are their ace players in Pat Cummins and Eoin Morgan.

Team News SRH: Sunrisers got unlucky with the injury to Mitchell Marsh in the first match and the Australian is set to return home. SRH have named Jason Holder as his replacement but the West Indies Test skipper cannot be an immediate inclusion.

Expected Change: Here are some KKR vs SRH MPL Fantasy Cricket Tips: Mohammad Nabi is set to replace Mitchell Marsh in this game. The Afghan all-rounder is a consistent performer and it will be good to see his bowling partnership with countryman Rashid Khan! The duo can wreak havoc with their bowling in any game.

KOL vs HYD MPL Fantasy Cricket Tips

Captain Choices

Andre Russell: The Jamaican superstar was decent with the ball against MI (2-0-17-1) but failed with the bat 11 of 11. He is one of the MVPs of the game and would want to make an early impression in the game. He will be looking to target the SRH spinners in this match and all he needs is a few balls to take the game away – both IPL game and Fantasy game. In our KKR vs SRH Today Match Prediction,  we back him to produce better numbers here.

David Warner: The SRH captain was mighty unlucky getting run-out at the non-striker’s end and would like to take his frustration out in this match. Warner is one of the all-time greats in IPL and he is an exciting bet for a captain’s spot as he can go long… very long!

Vice-Captain Choices

Dinesh Karthik: It was good to see Karthik promote himself even though the outcome was not that great (30 of 23). It seems he wants to take more responsibility which only means one thing for you – more points. Go ahead, make him your deputy.

Jonny Bairstow: The English striker was well on his way to winning the RCB match single-handedly before a slog against Chahal cost him his wicket (43-ball 61). Bairstow is very hard to control once he starts going and he looks inspired this season.

X-Factors

Sunil Narine: Narine is one player who hardly lets his team down. He was one of the very few positives for KKR (4-0-22-1). Yes, he failed with the bat (9 of 10) but that’s the thing about Narine he will be a hit n miss with the bat but consistent with the ball.

Rashid Khan: Rashid takes pride in everything he does and he will be gutted after the first match where he didn’t pick a single wicket. Rashid is a confident bloke and would we itching to have a go against what is considered to be the most lethal trio of Karthik-Morgan-Russell.

MPL Most Affordable Players

Shivam Mavi (Credits 8): As we mentioned above, Narine was one of the positives for KKR and the other one was Shivam Mavi. It was so good to see him in action after all the injuries the young lad has suffered. Mavi’s figures of 2/32 were inspiring as he bowled in tough situations and against the world’s bests.

Abhishek Sharma (Credits 8): Sharma got the big wicket of Aaron Finch in the match against RCB and looked good in the two overs he bowled. With the bat, he was sent in at No. 6, above Rashid Khan, which shows how much trust SRH have in him. He can earn you some decisive points.
