After suffering a crushing 9 wickets defeat against Gujarat, Mumbai will have to come back strongly when they face Maharashtra at Pune in their upcoming fixture starting from December 06. The side will be led by middle order batsmen Siddesh Lad after the experienced bowler and skipper Dhawal Kulkarni got ruled out of the clash due to an ankle injury. There are a couple of more changes to the side when they will take the field against Maharashtra in the Gahunje Stadium, Pune.

Mumbai, who is already dealing with an injury of seamers Tushar Deshpande and Dhawal Kulkarni, has chosen to give a go to Bhupen Lalwani in the place of out of form Akhil Herwadkar. Herwadkar has scored 101 runs in three innings. Lalwani has been picked due to his two back-to-back centuries in Mumbai under 23 team. In three games, Mumbai has faced 1 defeat while the previous two encounters ended in a draw.
