MI vs DC Dream11: The league stage of the IPL 2020 has ended and it’s time for the big games now. It’s the first qualifier and Mumbai Indians are ready to face Delhi Capitals. Mumbai Indians dominated the league stage and were the first team to qualify for the playoffs. The balance of their team allows them to adapt to various situations and conditions. Despite missing their skipper Rohit Sharma for a no. of matches, they were able to win games and confirm the top spot. Suryakumar Yadav has been a revelation at No.3 and Ishan Kishan has been superb with his six hitting ability. The bowling, led by Jasprit Bumrah has shown their ability to destroy any opposition. Despite losing their last league game, MI will look to play with full strength and book another place in the final.

Delhi Capitals, on the other hand started off the season very similarly to Mumbai but lost their way in between. They lost 4 out of their last 5 games, but the last win against RCB must have given them the confidence they required so badly. Shikhar Dhawan has led the batting and has been the top run scorer for his team. The middle order has looked off color in the last few games but the form of Ajinkya Rahane in the last game was a big relief. Delhi will look for their middle order to fire of they are challenge Mumbai. The bowling is Delhi’s strength and DC will rely on Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje to put up a good show against an in-form MI batting line-up.

MI vs DC Prediction, Qualifier 1 Today IPL Match Details

Fixture name: Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals

Competition: Indian Premier League 2020

Date: 5 November 2020

Time: 7:30 PM IST

Ground: Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai

Brief score of the last result at the venue: Kolkata Knight Riders 191/7 beat Rajasthan Royals 131/9 by 60 runs.

Team Form:

MI (recent last) W L W W L, DC (recent last) L L L L W

Points Table Standings in league stage: MI 1, DC 2

Pitch Report: The pitch in Dubai looks fairly good for batting. We have seen the trend in the last few matches that it gets fairly difficult for the team fielding second because of the dew. So expect the team winning the toss to field first. In the last game played here, KKR showed that if big runs are put on the board in the first innings, pressure can get to the chasing side despite the dew. So expect some runs being scored from two good batting sides. The temperature will fall down to around 22 degrees during the evening and there is no forecast for rain.
