Melbourne Renegades Women will go head to head with Melbourne Stars at Docklands Stadium, Melbourne tomorrow in the first of two back to back encounters. Both the teams will reload at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne on January 01, Tuesday for their second head to head encounter. Renegades, who have faced defeats in their last two encounters, will be hoping for a win and return on the winning track.
With just two wins in seven encounters, Melbourne Renegades are relinquishing at the bottom second spot of the points table. The campaign has not been ideal for the Renegades so far and they desperately need a couple of quick wins in order to stay alive in the contest.
Melbourne Stars are placed fifth in the ladder with four wins and four defeats in eight encounters. They have failed to capitalise their momentum and the journey so far has been like a seesaw. Stars faced 19 runs defeat against Adelaide Strikers in their last encounter and wouldbe looking to bounce back when they face Renegades tomorrow.
