हमीश रदरफोर्ड ने 126 रनों की शानदार पारी खेली. जबकि गेंदबाजी में बैन सैंडरसन, नाथन बक जोशुआ कोब ने दो-दो विकेट अपने नाम किये. लेकिन, नॉर्थम्पटनशायर की बल्लेबाजी ने गेंदबाजों की मेहनत पर पानी फेर दिया.

दूसरी ओर, नॉटिंघमशायर और यॉर्कशायर के बीच मैच खेला गया था. नॉटिंघमशायर ने इस मैच को 4 विकेट से जीत लिया. यॉर्कशायर की पूरी टीम 213 रनों पर ही सिमट गयी थी.
