New Zealand playing 11: New Zealand once were an extraordinary side in tests in their home. They rarely drop a test in their home but with time, they have become so poor even in their home conditions. The pitch did assist swing bowling which is their forte but without 3 of their 4 first choice bowlers, they struggled really hard.

Kane Williamson is certainly due for a big score after 2 consecutive failures by his standards. He has mind blowing numbers in New Zealand in tests.
Daryl Mitchell was seen at his in the second in Inga where he scored an unbeaten half century. He was the best New Zealand batsman by far in the first match.
Tim Southee struggles to restrict England batsman due to their counter attacking approach. He is a class act and one can expect a big comeback from him in the 2nd game.
