New Zealand playing 11: New Zealand are sitting handsomely at the top of the table in their group after a big victory over the hosts and the defending champions in Australia, their 2nd game against Afghanistan was washed out without even a ball being bowled. They would be slightly disappointed about missing out on a point as they were the favourites to win the game against Afghanistan. They are up against Sri Lanka who are struggling with a lot of injuries. A win against Sri Lanka should make them reach one step closer to the semi finals. Not many gave them a chance to reach the semi finals at the start of the tournament.
