New Zealand vs India DREAM11 GRAND LEAGUE TEAM | New Zealand vs India | India tour of New Zealand

Napier, January 23, Wednesday at 07:30 AM IST

After Australia triumph, Virat Kohli and men head to New Zealand for their next task which starts tomorrow morning at McLean Park, Napier. With an eye on World Cup 2019, both India and New Zealand will be working out to find the perfect balance for the biggest trophy. Both the sides will be locking horns in the 5 ODIs and 3 T20s till February 10.

India, brimming high with confidence, is once again confused with the middle order batting combinations. While Ambati Rayudu was considered the perfect fit for number four till the start of this year, three consecutive fifties from veteran MS Dhoni followed with the player of the series trophy in Australia has once again forced management to think of his batting position. While some consider him the best at number four, skipper Virat Kohli and the management will have to work hard to finalise a balance. Also, the management would be pondering whether to go with three front-line pacers and one wrist spinner or two pacers and two wrist spinners in tomorrow’s game.

New Zealand, who have just whitewashed Sri Lanka by 3-0 in ODIs, scored three back to back 300+ scores and look quite balanced for the Indian attack who will be missing out Jasprit Bumrah. Skipper Kane Williamson, veteran Ross Taylor, Henry Nicholls and Martin Guptill all scored centuries in the ODI series and look well in form.

Meanwhile, India has not won a series in New Zealand for almost ten years and it will be interesting to watch Virat Kohli and Men scripting a new chapter.
