NZ vs IND Dream11 Team: The Indian team came up with a quite convincing performance as they went on to register an excellent 65-run victory over New Zealand in the second T20I match on Sunday. The visitors have now taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20I series. New Zealand will lock horns with India in the third and final T20I encounter at the McLean Park in Napier on 22 November, 2022. It will be a big task for the home team to come up with an improved performance both with the bat & ball in order to level the series on Tuesday.
1. Suryakumar Yadav
While carrying on his sublime batting form, Suryakumar Yadav looked in a phenomenal touch once again during the recently concluded New Zealand vs India 2nd T20I. As India kept on losing wickets at regular intervals on one end, the right-handed Mumbai batsman contributed with a fabulous unbeaten innings of 111 runs off only 51 deliveries that consisted of as many as 11 fours and 7 sixes. He batted amazingly well to smash his second hundred in T20I cricket. Suryakumar has now smacked a total of 3 half-centuries and one century in his last 6 T20I innings.
2. Devon Conway
For New Zealand, Devon Conway has shown really good temperament and skillset to do well at the international level in the last couple of years. In his recent few innings, the left-hander has managed to get some impressive starts but has failed to convert them into big scores. He has smacked a total of 1086 T20I runs from just 33 matches at a strike-rate of more than 131 that includes as many as 7 half-centuries. Conway also scored an amazing match-winning fifty in the T20 World Cup 2022 game against Australia.
3. Ishan Kishan
Ishan Kishan was in action during the second T20I between New Zealand and India after a while since he last played for the national team during the home series against South Africa. While opening the batting, the left-hander got a fine start of 36 runs that included 5 fours and 1 six but could not convert it into a big innings. Ishan has already notched up close to 600 T20I runs from just 20 games at a strike-rate of more than 130 that consists of as many as 4 fifties.
4. Glenn Phillips
New Zealand’s swashbuckling batsman Glenn Phillips looked in an impressive touch during the group stage of the recently concluded ICC T20 World Cup 2022. India’s leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal was definitely the pick of the bowlers in the 65-run victory against New Zealand in the second match. He returned with brilliant figures of 2 for 26 in his quota of four overs that included the key wickets of Glenn Phillips and James Neesham. Chahal has now picked up as many as 87 wickets from 70 T20I matches at an economy of 8.1. He has been a regular wickets-taker for India in T20I cricket for a while now.
