RR vs BLR Dream11 Prediction: The battle of Royals is all set to raise the temperatures of the Dubai afternoon even higher. Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals from two different halves of the table will go head to head to kick-off this week’s IPL double-headers. Both the teams are coming off from losses in their previous matches. We will preview RR vs BLR Dream11 contest.
Rajasthan Royals are nearing do-or-die stage of their campaign if they don’t start winning soon. Bowling first in their last match against Delhi Capitals, Jofra Archer gave them an electric start with a couple of scalps in his first two overs. Jaydev Unadkat, Kartik Tyagi and Shreyas Gopal were also among the wickets as they restricted DC to a total of 161 runs. In reply, Jos Buttler and Ben Stokes began briskly but RR soon lost Jos Buttler and Steve Smith in the powerplay. Ben Stokes and Sanju Samson tried to rescue the chase from there but both got out after spending some time in the middle. In the end, RR had to give up their chase against the quality of Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada.
Royal Challengers Bangalore have now lost both their matches against Kings XI Punjab this year. In the last match, Virat Kohli was able to keep the scoreboard moving after the openers went early. But some of the tactics from RCB were questionable as they sent Washington Sundar and Shivam Dube ahead of AB de Villiers. As a result, whole batting lineup was disturbed and no one got going. They put on 171 on the board thanks to late power-hitting by Chris Morris. In reply, bowlers failed to cause any trouble to KXIP batsmen as they looked like chasing the score with some overs to spare. But tight couple of overs at the death meant that the match went to the final ball but KXIP were on the winning side by 8 wickets.
In head-to-head comparisons, there is not much to choose between both these sides as Rajasthan Royals are leading the race with a 10-9 lead from 22 matches played between them as 3 matches were washed out. RR have won 3 out of last 5 completed matches between these sides. In the first meeting this year, RCB registered a comfortable win against RR at Abu Dhabi a couple of weeks ago.
Pitch and Conditions
Pitches are bound to get slower in the second half during these period and given that this is an afternoon game, toss will play a crucial role. Teams would not want to field in scorching heat during the first innings. As we saw in the recent matches, new ball and powerplay overs go a long way in deciding outcome of the match.

There is nothing much that RR can do about their playing XI as they have tried almost every combination.
Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler have opened for them but playing Ben Stokes in the middle order can be a better option for a team like RR.
Steve Smith has struggled for his form after the first two matches and case is almost the same with Sanju Samson. Both need to find their touch back if RR are to compete further in the competition.
Robin Uthappa failed to get his team over the line in the last match while two young men Riyan Parag and Rahul Tewatia have performed exceedingly well during the late overs.
Jofra Archer is their main men in the bowling department but others need to provide much needed support to him. Kartik Tyagi has been impressive while Shreyas Gopal and Jaydev Unadkat are not bowling at their best.

Royal Challengers Bangalore Team News
Royal Challengers Bangalore are likely to go unchanged from their last match against KXIP.
Aaron Finch and Devdutt Padikkal need to go big after their initial starts to set up a perfect launch-pad for the likes of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers in the late overs.
Washington Sundar and Shivam Dube were used as floaters in the last game while Chris Morris is their late overs enforcers in both the segments.
Yuzvendra Chahal has been brilliant as usual while Isuru Udana and Navdeep Saini have also bowled well. Mohammed Siraj proved very expansive in the last match and it will be interesting see if they continue to pick him in our RR vs BLR Dream11 prediction.

RR vs BLR Dream 11 Prediction Today Cricket Match
WK: Jos Buttler, AB de Villiers Batsmen: Virat Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal, Riyan Parag All-rounders: Rahul Tewatia, Chris Morris, Washington Sundar Bowlers: Jofra Archer, Kartik Tyagi, Yuzvendra Chahal
For Small Leagues
Jofra Archer is a straight-forward pick from Rajasthan Royals with the way he is bowling. He is in some rhythm at the moment and with Aaron Finch and Devdutt Padikkal in his sights early, he can guarantee you some points if not more.
Virat Kohli is a consistent performer in every format. Even after a poor start to the season, he is currently highest scorer for RCB with 304 runs at an average of 60.80. Given the fact that he avoids taking any risks in early parts of his innings, that augurs well for his consistency in the fantasy potential.
AB de Villiers was held back in their last game but that is not likely to be case today after the result last time around. He has three half-centuries this year that also include a six-hitting masterclass at Sharjah earlier in the week. He needs to play cautiously against Shreyas Gopal as he usually struggles against googly and Shreyas Gopal will attack him with exact same deliveries.
Jos Buttler was looking in his supreme touch for the nine balls that he faced in the last match. But once again he was dismissed during the powerplay overs. He should look to take his time early on as he can make up for that very easily later on.
Rahul Tewatia is in terrific batting form this year and has almost scored runs in every opportunity he got. We are suggesting his name today because of the reason that his bowling also may come into play today against the likes of Aaron Finch, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. With ball turning away from these right-handers, it won’t be easy for these batsmen to take Rahul Tewatia on.
Chris Morris is a great pick for the grand leagues. He offers value in both the departments of the game. We saw his batting credentials in the last match while in bowling, he has taken 5 scalps from 3 matches so far. Clearly, with batsmen searching for some quick runs in the end, Chris Morris’ variations may come in handy.
