SA vs PAK Dream11: South Africa’s captaincy dilemma isn’t going in the right direction. It started after Faf du Plessis vacated the position and CSA opting for Quinton de Kock, he couldn’t live up to the expectations, and it took only two series for CSA to transfer the reigns to Temba Bavuma.
Bavuma hasn’t started well with his captaincy tenure as his led ODI side slumped to a 2-1 defeat to Pakistan at home. The momentum and confidence all look nothing but gone and it would be interesting to see how the T20I series will turn up for the Proteas.
Meanwhile, Pakistan would be banking upon the huge success in ODIs and will look to carry on from where they left. The Proteas would be under the leadership of yet another captain Heinrich Klaassen who will be leading a second-string side in the series. With 5 of the star players missing due to IPL commitments, the likes of Temba Bavuma, Rassie van der Dussen, and Dwaine Pretorious have been ruled out due to injuries. What awaits for the Proteas in the T20Is after a disappointing ODI series? Well, we will have to wait and see.
