Surisers Hyderabad will next face Gujarat Titans in their home game today at 7:30 pm.
Opening batters Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma and South African-based middle-order star Heinrich Klaasen continue to remain SRH’s most prolific run-scorers of the IPL 2024 season. Among the bowlers, SRH pacers T Natarajan (15 wickets), captain Pat Cummins (14 wickets) and senior speedster Bhuvneshwar Kumar (11 wickets) have emerged as their highest wicket-takers. Jaydev Unadkat has also managed to deliver timely strikes at various critical stages of the tournament for the ‘Orange Army’.
Sai Sudharsan and team captain Shubman Gill have stacked up the highest number of runs for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2024, tallying 527 runs and 426 runs respectively from 12 innings each. However, apart from the two in-form batters, no other cricketer in the Titans line-up has managed to outscore number three placed David Miller’s below-par tally of 210 runs. The bowling department of the Gujarat Titans this season seems to be lacking some potency in the absence of the injured Mohammed Shami. Senior fast bowler Mohit Sharma, however, has led his team’s bowling charge from the front by chipping in with 13 wickets from 12 completed games. Among the spinners, Afghanistan-import Rashid Khan has made the most impact for the Titans with 10 scalps.
