Sydney Thunder playing 11: Thunder won a thriller in the first match of the tournament. They were fortunate on various instances while chasing the innings. They were chasing a modest total but didn’t put up a solid show with the bat. They were pretty clinical with the ball and never let the Melbourne Stars’s batsmen score runs at a quicker rate. They do lack variety in their spin bowling department but their pace bowling is as versatile as it can get, that has bowlers who could bowl in all the phases of the game.
