THU vs REN Dream11: It’s the Boxing Day and Sydney Thunder is ready to face off against Melbourne Renegades in the 14th match of Big Bash this season. Both teams will look to make an impact on this big day. Sydney Thunder has made a decent comeback having won their last 2 games after losing their first match of the season. Their top order is yet to fire but skipper Callum Ferguson’s form has been a shining light for them. They will need a solid start from Khawaja and Hales at the top. Young Oliver Davies impressed with the bat in the last game which is also a good sign. The bowling looks to have variety with Adam Milne coming into the team. With Sams and Cutting to support him, Thunder form a lethal bowling attack.
Melbourne Renegades seemed to have a perfect start to their season and were looking dangerous but the losses in the last two games must have been worrying for them. The return of regular skipper Finch will give the side a boost as him along with Shaun Marsh form one of the best opening pairs this BBL. The middle order though, looks a little thin but Rossouw and Harper played well in the last game. With Mohammad Nabi in the eleven, they have the attacking bowling option in the middle overs. Lack of options in the death bowling may be a concern for them.
