After a thumping 154 runs win over Victoria in the previous encounter, Queensland will look to make it double when both the teams will square for the second time at Junction Oval on Tuesday morning.
Riding on Usman Khawaja’s 138 of 126 deliveries, Queensland posted a massive total of 322/9 on the boards in the first innings. Khawaja along with the in-form Sam Heazlett added 185 for the first wicket.
Coming to chase, Victoria was soon reduced to 37-5 in the 14th over and finally folded up at 168 runs in 39.5 overs, falling short by 154 runs. Mark Steketee made the most damage, returning with 4-25 in his 10 overs spell.
