The unofficial test series now rests at draw while both India and New Zealand shift their focus towards one-dayers. The first of the three unofficial ODI will be played tomorrow at Mount Maunganui.

The hosts have already named a 13-member strong squad which comprises of Jimmy Neesham, Hamish Bennett, Lockie Ferguson, Hamish Rutherford, George Worker and Seth Rance. Jimmy Neesham amassed 497 runs out of 10 innings in the recently concluded Ford Trophy and was the second-highest run scorer in the tournament. Neesham last played for New Zealand in 2017 ICC Champions Trophy. On contrary, Hamish Bennett finished as the leading wicket-taker in the tournament with 24 scalps in his bag. 

Canterbury captain Cole McConchie has received a maiden call while Adam Milne, Logan van Beek, Mark Chapman, Martin Guptill and Mitchell Santner are recovering well from their injuries and were not considered for selection. Northern Districts allrounder Daryl Mitchell has also received a recall.
